ANNA BARCELOS JOINS MERCURY AS DIRECTOR OF MARKETING STRATEGY & ANALYTICS
15-year marketing professional will help launch new data and analytics services as part of Mercury’s direct marketing capabilities
PAWTUCKET, RI – June 23, 2009 – Mercury, a Rhode Island-based direct marketing services provider has added Anna Barcelos as Director, Marketing Strategy & Analytics to its management team. In this newly created position, Anna will be championing the company’s new initiatives to leverage marketing data and analytics to help clients improve their marketing communications for stronger relationships with their customers.
Anna comes to Mercury with over 15 years of broad-based marketing communications experience, both traditional and on-line. Previously she was Director, Marketing & Business Development for Business Link International/OpenBOX, a messaging technologies and CRM software company, where she planned and implemented the company’s marketing strategies as well as worked directly with customers to leverage marketing analytics for more effective marketing programs. Anna began her career in progressive sales and marketing positions for manufacturing, high tech and pharma/biotech companies including TekCel (now Hamilton), Arconium/Oster Alloys (Cookson), Allied Signal (Honeywell), and Cadre Technologies. She is a member and blogger of the Boston AMA and co-founded and contributes to B2B Voices, a business to business blog containing best practices and case studies on the use of social media.
